P&Pd PICSystem

The P&Pd PICSystem (Pasture Irrigation Control System) consists of two parts: (1) a trailer unit that attaches between the drag hose and the irrigator, (2) a Kelco IPG20 controller located back at the pump. ... working together, these parts shut down the supply pump if any fault, leakage or blockage occurs in the effluent supply system, from the pump to the irrigator, or with the irrigator itself.

Comprehensive: monitors leaks, coupling disconnection, hose failure, nozzle blockage, mid-run irrigator failure, end of irrigation-run shutdown, pipeline blockage, hydrant disconnection, pipeline over pressurisation ... GPS unit (option) tracks and records irrigator paths.

Simple: connect trailer to irrigator and drag hose to trailer ... ready for irrigation.

Reliable: no regular battery replacement, very low power consumption, low maintenance, minimal upkeep, effluent debris tolerant, no need for cell phone or wireless coverage, robust construction, extensively developed and trialed over an extended time period, made of quality components and materials.

Economical: no ongoing fees, low initial set up costs, low maintenance and long service life, and only the trailer is required for farms with a suitable pressure/flow controller arrangement at the pump.
